Finally got it all put together.....sorry fella's that it took me this long.....G/F kept getting in the way during the build...The M18t was a pleasure to put together....(just be sure to use the right screws) and everything will be okay. I am happy with the parts and how they all went together nicely...oh and i love the fact that it has front and rear working sway bars..... and i cant forget the nice double ringed servo saver for the servo.....

Now all i need to do is fine tune everything, making sure my steering is straight.

Nice.......

Nice truck Alfred, can't wait to get mine. Hey just one question.....Do you think the buggy bodies will fit on it. I just like the look of them better.

Believe me i might just do that man.....Still figuring on how to lower the M18t to the ride height of the RC18t. The handling charateristics of each vehicle is going to be so different......If i cant find a way then im just going to have to higher the RC18t or find other shocks that will lower the ride height somewhat of the M18t......

take a look at the ride height of both vehicles.....M18t

RC18t....

That might be awhile good buddy.....I think the only real upgrade the M18t could use are some really good CVD's.

the xray may settle with running gear in it, heh

but still, the extra ride height is cool to see personally, so long as you can get some stiff springs it will make it easier to run on 10th scale tracks

do you think the wieght of the electronics/batss will couse the suspension to droop a bit? you know you can always limit the amount of lenght of the shock shafts. use some fuel tubbing on the shaft before you insert ti in the shock body.

The electronics of the M18 will be placed into the M18t tom......getting late over here now....I think the M18t will out do the RC18t handling wise. It could use some stiffer springs though....I have the Atomic Springs for the 18t but those are bigger in diameter then the kit springs for the m18t.

You might want to consider some Mini-T shocks. It seemed to drop the CG on my truck quite nicely.

Alfred! Get it running! (And it lowers alot once you get the electronics in it)

(per tires http://www.pmp-com.cz/RC/GALERIE/M18T/M18Td.jpg )

Ok Im a evil bastard, but I would trust GPM shocks as far as I could throw them.. Seriously. Baileysmicro with the real Losi shocks would be best if this does turn out to be the hot item. Not only are the losi rebuildable with spare parts, they are hard teflon anodized meaning they will last longer and be smoother for a much greater time.
