Finally a better servo....

http://www.hitecrcd.com/servos/show?name=HSG-5084MG

Speed: 0.05sec @ 60 degrees !!!!!!!!

There is also a: http://www.hitecrcd.com/servos/show?name=HSG-5083MG
There seems to be no difference but I believe this one can be programmed with the special Hitec programmer

This servo has the same dimensions as the HS81, so it is a direct fit, so no pic needed

I also know the differences between the 5083 and 5084.

The 5084 is made for common use, the 5083 is made to work with a special gyro which send very high framerate signals to the servo. (faster than HRS)

The Expert heats and finals.

The servo makes it possible to go faster on short tracks with lots of corners, due the faster response it was much easier to go on full throttle trhough chicanes without going to wide.

Thanx, although the car was that good in balance it was easier to drive through the tiny corners of our track. I neet to finetune the car and next time I will reach a 35 lapper qualification and a 36 laps final ;-)

Wow I just checked out your video today ......

Looks like an expensive servo however. Tower has it for $62, so Canadian funds it should be more then that. Which for the price, you can probably get about what...3 HS81's?

But I at least I know it exists now .. so thanks

Yes, but you must compare it with a Multiplex Digi Polo or an other digital MG servo.

I believe the HS81MG cost about 32 euro in Holland, this one was 49 euro. The difference is not much.
