Cooling fan

I was at radio shack a few months ago and saw a small cpu fan that i knew would come in handy some day. Today i found the fan in my toolbox and found that it fits perfectly between the two rear body posts. I have it held on with zip ties right now and body pins through the adjustment holes on the posts to keep the zip ties from sliding down, i will post some pics soon. I have washers spacing my upper deck to allow clearance for a 300 size motor, so this mod may not work on stock mrs4's i will look at the clearance later.

Instead of using zipties you might want to try using shoo goo....works well at keeping the fan in place........How do you have the fan hooked up, is it connected to the esc's battery connection or the esc itself.

Shoe goo would be ok, but with the way it is mounted you can still adjust the rear body posts, its tied to the posts. I just replaced my motor, and my deans connectors just came in so until i put those in i have my esc power hooked up to bullet connectors so i can change the plug ends, where the wire going to the esc comes out of the connector i put the fan wire in and crimped the esc power and the fan wire together
