Having got my TLT in pieces to fit some nice new links I had made I decided to move the mounting points.
I am aware that having the upper links triangulated is the ideal set up for articulation, now the standard TLT's are not bad but there is still about 10mm between the ball joints at the chassis mount. So i got some spacers and new ball links and made it so the ball links met in middle.... Result much improvement, the chassis felt so much more supple.
I was looking at the lower links and noticed they werent parallel to the chassis and felt that should be addressed so have spaced the lower link mounting point at chassis so that the links ARE parallel with chassis. Again the result is an improvement in the suppleness.

At the moment its about 2.5inch at the gearbox, can get a little more if relocate the top shock mounting but the driveshafts start to bind then.
But at a local hall I race my other cars It climbs some carpetted steps real easy.
I really recommend altering the link locating points at the gearbox end, even on a standard tlt it should make a good difference, not necessarily to articulation but suppleness. At the axle the links are mounted as standard, that is likely to be the next modification.
