Thank you sir! I will repost new pictures once it arrives and i get parts swapped over. Not sure weather I want to use the 8000kv or 9200kv.

Oh and I was looking over the settings on my ESC and found out the timing was jacked all the way up... that probably had something to do with my diffs not lasting long.

Well I have a couple months to find something but I do have a possibility to move in with a friend. His room mate is moving out so he needs someone to fill the empty room. I guess now its all up to timing.

Yea, im always excited for a new place. House is pretty big too. Only thing I dont like about it is the livingroom has like.... 30ft ceilings so when you turn on the heater it does pretty much nothing but heat that empty space.

Yea ill be sure to cover all areas and have backup plans. Like you said... dont wanna be living on the streets..

Okay got the new car today and did some part swapping but im not quite done. I need some advise.

It has the DP gear cover and I would really like to use it but now my 7 cell dont fit. I need opinions on a lipo that will fit. Preferably 3s. Some info on how the charging of those works as I have no clue how the balancing business works. I have a 3s charger but no balancer so I would like to figure that out before I buy something.

I also noticed my rear outdrives are starting to expand. Im sure pretty soon theyre going to fail on me. Any suggestions on better ones? The stronger the better.

PS: with that gear cover installed the motor mounting is very sketchy. Its all a REALLY tight fit, almost couldnt get the mount screws in.

as for the 30ft ceilings in the other house , Time for a Helicopter..

Battery balancing can be done by using what is called a " BLINKY " its about 25-30 bucks. I think its called an Astro Blinky , simple to use. Switching to Lipos is like going from VHS to Blu-Ray(i'll skip DVD) you will love em.

i missed the last part , for the DP fitment issues search it out on the thetoyz.com. Your answer WILL be there since there is a DP(drivenProductions) link/thread.

Damn now that was an awesome vid.....hard to control i see. Gone that quick lol. You might want to lower the front so it could be controlled. Call me when you get the chance buddy. Got the package the other day, just to let you know.

Thank you for all the info. I was looking at hobby king for a nice lipo. Was going to get a 2200mah 3s just like one of the ones you linked. I am also searching the forums right now for an answer to the DP fitment issue.

I like the video! That's what I want my rc18 to do! I tried some rubber tires today and it was nothing but spin outs. The foams seems to have WAY more grip. I was running a 9200kv earlier today and I dont like it. I put the 8000kv back in and am currently waiting for the battery to finish. After I go and do a final test ill post up some pictures.

I also found another problem. I have a hitec something something MG (forgot the name) and it dosent seem to want to work right. When its mounted the alignment with the linkage is off a little and causes binding. I went back to my old setup for now but I would like to use the MG servo for strength. Also found that the 3 racing steering linkage sucks.... it doesnt come with the right sized bearings for the linkage where it connects to the chassis.
