Fastest Brushless Motor?

Just wanted to know what brushless motor everyone is talking about that is so fast. One post I read was talking about a brushless motor that was faster than the big blocks and speed 300, which motor is that?

Um,

In response to your thread; that's just about any brushless motor.

Hmm, um, Intelligentsia, based on what do you think this is so?

BL motors have also different windings...so one turn slower than other on the same count of cells. But do not be fooled however that slower Kv motor is weaker that higher Kv of the same size.

It would be nice however if someone could make a list of BL motors which were tested in a micro and where to get them. Controller is also very important of course, especially how smooth it is and if there is any cogging at the start up and what kind of brake it has.

Miha,

Thanks for the response but I did not need it. Any good brushless motor will spank the best brushed motor for the micro. When I say a good brushless motor I am referring to the Lehner 1010 and 1015 motors. These things really haul. Even the Hacker motors are pretty darn fast. All of these will smoke the pants of a Big Block with equivalent cells. Not to mention the fact that the BB will not last very long with ten cells, they barely even last with eight.
