Unhappy Motor sounding like a screaming girl....

Like the subject LOL....it's true it does...=)

I went to run my car this afternoon and the pinion came off...no big deal, I found laying right by the car, then when I ran the motor this gut renching sqeaky noice came from the motor. Just awfull noise.

Any ideas? I am stumbed. I haven't even run the motor 3 times yet.

You either burned up the windings of the motor.....or the motor just went bad....i have done this many times so i know what you mean.....Just replace the motor....nothing you can really do to fix it.

Nope no smoke just a sqealling noise. My dad think that the bushings are alittle big for the armeutar and it is vibrating in the bushings.

That's what i also suggest, that the bushings are worn out. This is quite normal after a certain time (the big advantage of bearings).

try thick grease on the bushings, you might be able to get away with it. most of the time when bushings worn out you should replace them. Your brushes and armeture is probaly all messed up already..

@jw_j

If it's so loud since you installed it you should check the gear mesh. Too loud usually means too close.
