Sweet Alfred! I've got that exact same blue battery strap on my RC18MT! LOL. So, did you get rid of your RC18T?

Yes i did, it was mostly used for onroad only and i have two mrs4's and also a m18 as well...traded a buddy of mine my Xray m18t for a 540 conversion chassis roller and thought it would just be better for me to stick to onroad, since the micro trucks that i have owned only saw pavement and nothing else. Your doing a good job on yours man, keep it up.

I know that this is a Pro-Pulse Forum, but since you showed me your RC18T, I just wanted to show you my RC18MT with the same blue battery strap!

See, told you I have that same blue battery strap! LOL!

If you're wondering "what's with the rubberbands!?" Well, whenever I'm using my 2s 2200 mAh Li-Po battey, I remove the blue battery strap, and the Li-Po stands up right since it doesn't fit flat. The rubberbands hold the battery in place. I've been meaning to go to my local surf shop to pick up some surfboard leash velcro straps, but I just don't get around into doing it!?

Yes, those are my Pro-Pulse T100 wheels I've got mounted on my RC18MT. Oh, and if you were curious, that's a New Era Roll Bar.

Hey Alfred, here's what I was talking about, when I said that my Li-Po battery stands up, and so I have to use the rubberbands to hold my battery in place.

Now that my Li-Po battery is fully charged, and since I brought out my RC18MT, I went ahead and changed out the wheels back to the RC18MT ones, so that I can do some off road bashing!!! Do you see my Project:T100(R) in the background? I'm gonna do some on road racing as well! Be back later!!! LOL!

Thanks for the comments! As far as the Pro-Pulse tires being mounted "backwards," I knew that! But I've found that by mounting them "backwards" you actually get more "bite" from the tires. LOL! You should give it a try!

Phase Three: Hyper Speed

Aloha again everybody! It's that time again for the next installment of my on going project. So buckle your seatbelts and hold on tight. Here comes Project: T100(R) Phase Three: Hyper Speed!

Today I take my Project: T100(R) Phase Two: Code Blue

Then I stripped off the top brace, along with the electronics, motor and battery

now this is what's left

Then I re-installed a spare top brace, and dropped in a brushless motor

Next I finish it off by installing the speed contoller, Futaba 2.4GHz receiver, and Li-Po battery

Here's another angle

A close up of the motor and speed controller (yup, that's a Mamba baby!)

Another shot of the motor and speed controller

There really is a Li-Po under the battery strap!

And there we have Project: T100(R) Code Three: Hyper Speed!

I just want to give a shout out to my man BloodyBastard (or BB as I like to call him) who always inspires me with his crazy projects and pictures! Mahalo bro!!!

Aloha!

Phase Three: Hyper Speed (Parts List)

The components used in Phase Three: Hyper Speed are as follows-

Futaba 3PM 2.4GHz SS FASST receiver (and transmitter), and Mamba Brushless Motor...

... in which the Mamba setup used is the MMB25-CM2080 Competition "X" Package

And to supply the juice for the motor is a Thunder Power Li-Polymer 2200 mAh/7.4V 25C cont/50C burst

Hopefully one day I'll be able to pick up an 11.1V Li-Po like my man BB's got!

Absolutely diabolical, you are indeed a Madman.. (as the old saying goes, takes one to know one ). Even with only 7.4V I bet that 'X' motor still eggs the tires at full throttle. You may notice a little center tread wear start happening before too long .
It may be a bit expensive but are you considering the blue alloy package to complete the 'code blue' for added strength and weight to keep that machine on the ground? You are using RC18T running gear correct? You might want to source a metal spur gear otherwise you will be chewing up plastic ones like water.
Since it is a 'road rage' machine will you be drop/chopping the body to lower it more? That should help prevent some of the flipping and rolling which as you well know tends to become more violent with a mamba set up.

I really like my modified stock setups, but you blasted madman! You've got me thinking about that third chassis I have..

cheers mate
