new to hobby

hello everyone
i just bought a micro rs4 rtr and a team orion 1200 ni-mh 7.2 volt battery. i want to know what motor i should get and what type of chassis. i am mainly going to use this car for drag-racing. i want lots of speed and a little bit of manuverability.

thats funny i met a guy tonite at our local track that bought a ready to run and a orion 6 cell pack.....anyway just add a300 size motor and just go fast with so good tires

Get a tuned Speed 300 type motor from either Blind (Rabid), United R/C (Krystal 3), or KDR (Ruby).

If your only going to run 6 cells I would say stick with the stock chassis as it is really light, or go with an ARM Pan chassis as it will allow you to mount your electronics lower for a better cg! It is a 150mm chassis but it is easy to drill the holes so you can use it in 140mm if you need to.
And get some foams or the softest rubber tires.

get a 540 ,those are sweat but if you get it try going a little slow with it, this thing hits like 50
