New setup
All wires twisted, fan wires shortened and fan connected to receiver aux port instead of directly to batt. The length of the servo wires are restricting rx placement. I hope my new servo has longer wires. I'll take it for a test run when the new servo arrives and i get it installed.

So i go for a test run today to try out the new servo and the car just goes WOT into a fence. So my anti glithching campaign didn't work. I'm wondering if my esc just isn't good or if it can't handle the 17T motor.

Hey have you checked to make sure that the capacitors are still on the rear of the motor....did you change out the freq crystals. Have you thought about going FM which has more of a selection of bandwidths.

Yep caps still there, ther're surface mounted caps. The stock pro-pulse radio is fm, I haven't changed the crystals. My next move is to try a friends losi dsm tx and rx. If it still happens that rules out interference for sure. It's getting that i'm afraid to try driving it. It's done this three times and each time something broke.

I also run a dsm and i can tell you that your glitching problems will be gone for sure.....sorry i wasnt aware that it was fm. I guess your next upgrade would be to get a new radio. I would still replace the caps if you could, either get 103 or 104's......take the pcb board that the surface mounted caps are on and solder on new caps, so this way at least you know that they have been changed.

So i tried a losi dsm system and almost everthing is glitch free. The only problem is if u pull the throttle hard from a standing start the cars just jerks and stop. You have to slowly squeeze it to get the car moving then you can punch it. If the cars slows down also the same thing happens. However no wot run-aways.

Then it seems to me that you might want to try another esc.

Found out the solution to this.

I didn't bother get the cap, i just used my lipos and now i accelerate smoothly.

But, now my servo is going crazy. When i accelerate it starts jittering and sometimes never stops even after i turn off the radio.
