Never heard of Energizer e2 rechargeables before, only the crappy silver 2500 cells. A quick search later and they both look the same to me. I have a few 2-year-old Rayovac Hybrid AA and AAA's and a whole bunch of Duracell Pre-Charged AA and AAA's (rebadged Eneloops) from when I found them on sale. I'd stick with what's recommended and has consistently been a top performer in battery tests: Eneloops, or the white-top Duracell Pre-Charged cells. Ironically, I only use the AA cells in my Spektrum and TQ2 remotes and wireless mouse, and occasionally I'll charge the AAA's that're in my Arc AAA and L0D-CE. Both get used so little that I can go a month and the voltage is still over 1.1. Currently, I don't even have a AA light; sounds like I need one to put the rest of my cells to use!

Yes it seems that you do, i was kind of weary picking up a couple of packs of AAA's and of course AA's. I have been using them for about a week now and they seem to hold there charge for now, lol. I also use Eneloops and Duraloops and find there performance top notch and lately i also have been using Titanium lsd's which seem to be good performers as well.

I started collecting when i became a ghosthunter, I remember my very first flashlight it was an old bulb Maglight that i was using when i was in the Army. Since then i prefer something small that had great light output to carry around since it made holding gear easier.
Here's an update on my torches and batts........

Im mainly into the audio aspect of it.......i use AA3 which is a nice program that cleans and amps up the audio. It also cost me 349.00 bones when i got it. I also use two Mini DV's and 2 cameras........and i have like 4 recorders.
Heres a link to my account where you can take a look at some pics and of course hear some audio.

yeah, there was a sound but not distinct enough...
But have you tried analyzing it from a wave point of view? Some mathematic transformation or filtering may get you better results. But too bad I'm no expert in this field. I actually hated working with sound when I was studying biomed.
