cooked motor

have killed my 550 motor - made a mud run in the back garden and i think it might have been a bit to much for the motor,i had it pluged into an M tronics speedo at the time which set fire !!! .So i now have up rated to a super rooster and a 650 motor out of a plane this thing now has so much torque it goes any where while at the model shop i got hold of another TLT for a very good price that i could not refuse and have now started a new project dont no if it will work yet but its good fun trying . let me no what you think.

The motor cooked?
well i guess its better than your esc right?

Just a quick question while were at this subject. what usually burn out first? ESCs or Motors? I lost a heat sink on my ESC while climbing a hill with the tlt . Now i'm worried about it.

Nice find with the new tlt by the way.

cooked motor

The esc set fire as well

It realy depends on what motor combo you have ,i have got through about 4 speedo's in this thing since fitting the super rooster all is ok , you need to get a heat sink for your speedo otherwise it will just over heat ! you should be able to get them . I have just worked out this thing has killed -4 speedo's , 2 servos and 2 motors ,and all i have done to the truck is changed the bearings to stainless steel ones and not replaced any parts through breakeage, . here is my favorite picture of the electic killer !
