... the evo-x for rc18t. its a conversion kit but it is also almost complete. so what would i need to complete it? and is this thing worth the money i was reading other peoples opinions and they said it was more of a showcase item then a racing item? what do you have to say? *carpet racing/occasional pavement*
mate they are right...its all a show thing i have seen two versions....1's all chrome with a bit of CF and the other is blue with CF...and they all say it turns ur truck into a show truck...not to mention you don;t get nothing with it ....ur better off getting FT car..unless u really have the money and drive it on carpet and smooth concrete...
I'm a n00b to 1/18th but you woudn't really wanna use that for dirt or nothin
Heck No! i wouldnt let that baby touch the dirt... i think im going to get the factory truck... there isnt really that much of a difference between the rtr and the factory. what you get dogbones some nuts. shocks. come on... 30 dollars more you can get a rtr and sell off the servo reciever transmitter motor and upgrade it all... but... seeing how the things i would upgrade on the rtr is already on the ft, i guess i am going to just buy that... i will still need some new pinions spurs, and diffs, and 1/10 tires...
I have a problem with all aluminum parts...if you take a look in my gallery the only thing i didnt hop up was the chassis and upperbrace.....too me if you crash especially if the crash is bad your chassis could tweak causing your micro to drive terribly.
Dont waste your money. If what you say is true. That your going to race on carpet/smooth pavement Then get mip cvds, alum hubs/axel carriers, brp shocks and front bumper. Then get the alum servo bellcrank asm and a good servo. Also adjustable turnbuckles are a good idea. Now your ready to race.
The rest is all usless bling.
