What does 80A FETs with BEC mean. And also does anyone know how much turns the stock motor has?

Lets see if my electronics memory is correct today.

80A - I believe is 80 Amp.

FET - Field-effect transistor, I believe they are MOSFET's (Metal–Oxide–Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor) in the Speed Control.

BEC is Battery Elimination Circuit. That means you don't have to run a separate battery pack to power the receiver.

The higher the Amps the more power that can be handled by the ESC (Electronic Speed Control). So motors with less turns (more amp draw) or dual motors are able to be handled by the stock controller.

Not sure but I think the stock motor is a plain 27 turn 370 sized brushed motor.

You hit the nail with the hammer, he is correct in what he said. You should have no probs running any hot motors that are out there.
