Elite 1500 cells?

Ar they any good? Would I be better off with IB 1400's or gp 1300's?

I have the 6 cell "stock 4x2" designed 2/3A Elite 1500 pack from CBP.com. It gives off a ton of power till the very end. My guess for duration of pack life is around 40 minutes (could be higher). I havent had mine on a track (yet) so its only zooming around back and forth in my house on hardwood flooring. I'm looking to race this winter, so I may end up getting 3 more packs (2 for my car and 2 for my gfs). However, im holding out till I see if im going to swap to a different chassis.

I have seen somewhere (might be on here) that claims the packs are under-rated and can push 1700mah?? I know I saw some webpage somewhere that someone was benchtesting the packs and the more you charge them up the higher the Mah was going.

I have never used the IB1400s / GPs, but from what I have seen and read on other forums about them, Elites are a worthwhile battery to have in your micro. I think its also a cheaper priced battery then the IB/GPs anyways.

Here is a quote from CBP.com

Some items dropped –
-----------------------------
And yes - We currently no longer offer IB products. Due to a high failure rate of new cells we had to stop selling them. We will continue to test new batches and if quality comes back we will offer them again. But to be honest the Elite product is so strong that we are not sure it is worth bringing them back.
