Got the diff locked but still waiting for my 7 cell. I have a 15t pinion right now but I think I may need to go lower. Motor dont seem to have enough power to push the car if I am going and flip a quick 180 and try and take off. Also motor seems to get a bit warm after some hard running. Might invest in a fan kit too.

Try a heatsink first..... get one that fits on the motor itself.

Do you have any examples? Why do you say heatsink instead of a fan? Save money or do you think a fan is not needed?

I would try another motor heatsink, since your using the motor mount that has a heat sink i would also put another on the motor........Check the picture of mine that i posted.....

Yes that is what im saying.......try that first. The aluminum heatsink should displace a lot of the heat coming from the motor.

You might want to get one that will fit a 180 motor though......the one that he has is for a 300 size can.

I was looking into a lower KV motor since I plan on offroading a bit... whats your opinion on these??
