Well, bummer dude!

I got a 3S LiPo pack not too long ago, and it blew up within three days. I never drove with the body off, at least not as long as I had the pack, and I made sure to charge the battery whenever it wore down. I don't know why it burnt up, but it sure does suck. It wasn't cheap, especially on my budget.

I dunno, I just needed to rant. Anyone know where I can get NiMH packs for a reasonable price?

Dude, that does truly suck.. Those 3S pack are not cheap. I've had a couple lipo packs go bad on me. Never blew up persay, but they expanded or 'balooned' and stopped holding a charge. Definitely makes you think twice about the investment.

Yeah, I ordered it from cheapbatterypacks.com. And yes, it was more of a balloon than a "boom," but close enough for me. I got the... PolyRC 1100mAh 3s pack. >.>

I may have fixed the pack >.<

I went in and removed the ballooned cell, and now I am hoping that the pack will work. It has a decent power output now, instead of being unable to turn over the motor with the car off the ground, but for some reason, the charger will not charge the pack...
