My favorite light is the RC N3, for the price you just cant beat it.....takes a Cr123 or 2AA's. I have had problems with UltraFires which liked to flicker no matter how many times i cleaned off the terminal. The two that i have now are great (WF 606A P4) which can take a CR2 or 2AA's. My other hobby is ghosthunting so i really dont like lugging around something big......my old light was a 3D and 2D mags with the drop in leds and it just sucked when your at the cemetery lugging other things around. I need to get a smaller but powerful headlamp for this summer. Do you have any recommendations. I prefer my lights to be convertibles which means that they all work great on a single cell. I prefer to use Cr123's, RCR's, AA, and i even have some Triple AAA lights.

i really like paranormal state! too bad my ex hijacked my tv & dvr there is no damned way you would catch me in a cemetary after dark! even if i had one of those trailer lights with the telescoping pole & generator, nope!

check out the remington high performance headlight:
http://www.chuckhawks.com/remington_headlight.htm

http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/...d.php?t=216245

imo, i think its proabably the best multipurpose / functional headlight out.

i've been eyeballin' the nitecore d10.... i want one, but then again i want a p7 or mc-e hand cannon thrower too! i think im looking too much at output numbers vs whats really important and functional in a edc because i haven't satisfied my craving for more power yet!

looks like you're right... can i add a c9 tail/body to a c7t? i think i would like the option of momentary on on occasion! i do like that the bodies are interchangeable!

You cant mix the tail cap R with a tactical head........at least thats what they say on there site. You might as well look at the C7T, nice light still but in AA form. You cant tell by the pic but the C9's tailcap doesnt come off, the tube is one piece while the C7R body tube is 2. This is my most favorable light because of its muliti battery configs. If you have an olight and like the UI then you will like the ITP's.

the T's won't tailstand, correct? i think the c9r is looking like the winner at the moment. how does runtime compare between a rcr123 & a 14500?

i finally got around to modding my $6 target xre headlamp with 2 a123 18650s... it the bidness!

Havent done a runtime test but you should know who already had.....selfbuilt has a great review-check the review section on cpf. And yes your right the T's dont tailstand, but if you dont like sos and strobe then the T's are a winner.
