Cool pimped Mini T

This is what my thirteen year old neighbor does when he's bored.

Diecast Dub silverado drilled and mounted w/clips to the mini t chassis and he even added the wheels with some slight modification (something about melting the wheel with a lighter). Anyway... I thought it was a gas and had to post a pic to see what kind of response he would get. His name is Tyler and he actually came over and drove it around the driveway!!!! I could not stop laughing the whole time.

Pimped T

LOL!

That must handle like a washing machine, especially with the ultra-high C of G, those hard plastic tires and no bearings in the front wheels...

Of course It drives terrible....But thats not the point here. The point is that a kid with almost no RC experience takes and mods his mini just for the sake of somthing to do. To me that shows an interest in the hobby. I guess to me that is the purpose of forums like this.To share interest and to get the next generation of R/C hobbists to continue to help the hobby grow. Needless to say you wont see that setup at the local track.......Maybee in the concourse competition. Thanks Rcdriver for the kind words.
Now there's someone who appreciates a little over the top Bling factor.

good to see that you give the kid some respect for doing what he does in terms of R/C. while it doesnt look good, your neighbor Tyler obviously has a love for R/C that isn't as prevalent as it was a decade ago. i was thinking that you posted it just to encourage the bashing of your neighbor.

I think what the kid did was awesome.
hockeypux19 is right, the point is the kid showed interest. and not only that he showed creativity.

cool stuff

imagine what he can do with the right parts in hand.
