honestly i belive that the ESC was designed and tested with 4-6 cells and a 280...
the 370 motor makes the ESC warm according to others on this forum....
if the ESC was designed for 4-6 cells then 7 cells will push it...
if the esc was designed for a 280 then a 370 will push it...
so yes i think 7 cells will push it on the stock esc...
The ruby with 7 cells will smoke it no prob... IMO

I did the tower in a couple hours but didn't have the proper tools here. It is super strong. I had to drill out the centers then used chainsaw files to shape it (gave me something to do while watching hockey). can't tell it's not supposed to be there. My bud brought me over some scraps to work with. I was a little worried the front tower I made would not work until I popped the body posts off. I never routed a hole, didn't need the angle as the posts bolt on the flat surface and still give the proper angle. I just got offered a pile of new tools last night so I might start making a few things until I get the cnc stuff happening to bide my time. Got a dremmel router setup, drill press, assorted sanders etc so....I could pop these out fast and cheap if anyone is interested. no countersinking holes makes it easy (I could drill out 10 at a time on the drill press)
(I actually saw your M3 and made me look at mine, not trying to steal the idea, yours totally dude, I love it, looks cool.)
I am addicted to the mini t bigtime. I am looking at all kinds of things. The back tower would have to be a molded pce unless a new chassis was designed. I want to stay away from too many molded parts, takes too much time. Going to make about 100 molded kevlar chassis though (50 each or red/black and yellow/black) and change the rear tower mount to accept a flat tower. first the prototype to experiment a little. should have one done by next weekend.

Pipeous,
and they say that good ole MJ will make you slow....lol
anywho, thanks man i am glad it turned out as decent as it did. I still migh re mount the posts to bring the body foward. but not sure yet.
If you do mold a chassis and it comes out good, how bought a orange/blue one? i mean later on down the road and what will you do about the tray for the ESC, since it seems to attach to the original shock tower?
Can't wait for pics man
Oh and if you have a M3 do it man, we can start a trend...lol
Later

That reminds me of last year, when I was running an Evolution TC/Rally body on my t3. Was pretty fun. Looked mean.
