Nice! The XXL will fit under the battery hold down plate, between the front two cells. Just thought I'd mention it.

I mentioned earlier in the thread about that, but oh well. When I mounted it there, it caused mad glitching, so I had to remove it and mount it on top. I'm just going to mount the transponder where the XXL is supposed to go.

Alapdown, it's cool, do you run yours in the recommended location??? Just wondering if I'm the only person that has had that problem. I have seen someone else that runs their receiver in the same location, but he did it because his receiver was too large to fit under the battery bar.

I put my XXL in the recommended location with no problems. The way these little cars are, everything is so close together it is hard to avoid the radio interference sometimes.

well if that XXL is the same one that I sold to jwray a few months back, its an AM setup, so that may be the whole difference in the world...

It is the same one, thanks by the way, and that was what I was thinking too. So, I guess I should re-phrase the question, Does anyone run an AM XXL in the recommended location?
