Yah pomme it is a bigger step than I thought I would be making at this time!hehehe

I am wanting to run the Proline '72 Chevy Truck body. But am kind of still open to others at this point.

I picked up some of the pede trans parts today! TRCC did'nt have all the stuff and does'nt sound like any of the other shops do either?

Still need the sliders, topshaft and spur gear adapter. Think that is it?hehehe

I got to see one of the guys from TRCC TLT crawler with the SW2 chassis and a Rock Pleaser body! It looked really sweet! and the guy was really kewl in helping out and giving me tips!

I liked how the Rock Pleaser looked on his TLT! And he did'nt have to cut much off.

But as far as the rest of the pede trans parts I need I guess I'll try and checkout flemings and aloha's and see if I get lucky?

If not I guess online?

O.K. getting a little closer to finishing the pede tranny!

Picked up the plastic yokes, sliders, spur gear and adapter as well as rod ends for the p4 links!

Still need to find the top gear/shaft and screws! I am thinking I won't find the top gear/shaft locally though?

Gonna have to checkout 10th ave. to find the screws I think?

But I wish now that someone had told me to just buy a Stampede truck instead of buying the trans parts separately!!!

Aloha's had a 72 Chevy body! But it was out of the bag with no mask or stickers! So I think I'll hold off and check around first!
But will probably try and deal with Scott if I can't find a Rock Pleazer or 72 Chevy in the bag?

BTW those things on the rims are to keep the tires from falling off right?

yah ss those are rock rings or bead locks.

the screws screw into the bead of the tire to hold it in place.

although i think this style is only made for the outer rim and not the inner.

Woohoo my P4 chassis came in today!

Although I am still waiting on other parts!

First glance it looks really good! Nice clean cuts. And the trans mount/center skid plate is a solid looking piece!

I am by no means a chassis builder or serious rock crawler, but this chassis looks more than capable to me!

And one of the testers won his first comp with one! Although it was an aluminum version.

The P4 that they are selling is made out of Delrin.

Looking good so far

How are those rods attached to the chassis plate? Ball links? Is that what helps with the suspension articulation?
