  • Dremel some of the rear bulkhead away to allow the spur/pinion to mesh
im about to do this on my micro...anyone have any close up pics?? i bought an aluminum bulkhead with the 300 motor mount already mounted. but it didnt include any spacers to raise the rear deck. im running the TO CF chassis with seperate rear pod FWIW.

Vic,

No photos unfortunately as I have Penguins on two of my Micro RS4s and they have sufficient rear deck clearance for the BB300.
In essence you need to raise the upper rear deck by 4-5 millimetres (no idea what that is in inches - my el-cheapo "Mao Tse Tsung" Vernier Caliper only does Metric) You can raise the rear deck slightly longer screws and spacers.

I dont know if the alloy bulkhead will need working down at all..
The sweet spot for a Speed 300 seems to be about a 13T pinion, so you'll need to get the meshing right.

Hopefully someone will Post a photo showing the spacers in place
