FYI: ProPulse batteries at RadioShack on clearance

I was tipped off by a local hobby shop that some Radio Shacks still have parts for the MegaPro/ProPulse and so went to a nearby one and was lucky to find two of the 1400 mAh NiMH packs on clearance for $10 each. I bought both as that seemed to be a good deal. If you're looking for this and are near a Radio Shack it might be worth taking a look.

FYI, I found 2 more of these 1400 mAh batteries at another radio shack (didn't buy them - do I need more then 2 batteries? How long do these things tend to last?), so this deal seems to be pretty readily available. Definitely worth $10.

I would try to get at least 2 more.......so once the motor cools down a bit you can run your ride again.......but having a total of 3 batt packs will do.

2-3 packs are nice. I'm saving up for a 2nd but I just had to break down for a new servo. I can't find any propulse stuff at my radioshack. I had word they were bringing them back with the xmods but that obviously a lie cause its with megatech as the megapro.

Let us know how they run...I need to get some new batteries, and batteryspace.com just DOUBLED the price of their single cells.

Some of the smaller bits are being phased in again, my Rat Shack is carrying smaller pieces (batteries, spare parts, etc.) with the MegaPro label instead of the ProPulse label.

If you're in desperate need of spares and whatnot, go to towerhobbies.com (was that against the ToS? Sorry if it was, honest!) to get your pieces. The propulse is still going strong, it's just got a different name on it now.

Half of the stuff on mine came in a box labeled "MegaPro" and the other half... well, that's mostly RC18 stuff. Can't get an all-metal drivetrain for the propulse quite yet.
