Yeah. Tomorrow he says I can go to the hobby store if I wake up early (HAHAH Righhhttttttt..... ). From Towerhobbies, I would only pay like $215 for a RC18B FT kit, Duratrax digital peak, SMC IB1200 7-cell pack, HS-81 (I'm not concerned about the gears from what I've heard about the soft saver), and a stock 370 motor. I'm assuming it'll go plenty fast... Maybe 25MPH? I hope my Spy can handle it... hehe. We'll go look tomorrow if they're cheaper (most likely not because of the instant $20 savings), but we'll go and get some paint anyways. The paint scheme I was thinking about is white except two blue strips down the body, like a Ford GT. Maybe silver instead of white.... Any ideas. i want something that's cool but is original.

=\ what? I always wanted the B. What changed was that i want the RTR now instead. The guys at the hobbie shop told me that I didn't really need those parts that are in the Factory Team. And I'm saving money because I don't have to buy a lot of new stuff. I want to get some more useful upgrades now.

well silver- i would have to say that the people there told you the wrong thing. the ft is definatley worth getting. the adjustable turnbuckles are a must for racing, the carbnite balls make the diff super buttery smooth, the heatsink motor mount is a must for mod motors and stock for that matter to keep things cool, the alloy shocks hold oil better and resist flexing. te blue ball studs are lighter than the copper ones that come with the rtr.

from a racer point of view they told you to go the wrong way.

I don't do any racing at all, don't live ANYWHERE close to a track. Well, if you don't count a little grass and some dirt here and there-I'll probably never have enough room to see top end on this thing. XD
