Best Overall Motors

I've seen far too many posts and cant decide. Which motor is good.

The Gaupner Speed 300 seems good and its cheap(plus I know how to modify motors)

The Team Losi motor seems too easy. I'm trying to steer away from that.

The Baja is way too expensive for my tastes, and the same w/ Big Block Modifieds.

Heres what I'm looking for-
-I dont want to have to replace the speed controls at all.
- it cant be more than 25$
- and I want it to have good performance.

spend 25 dollars and get a tuned motor, either the rabid at

www.blindbatts.com

or the k3, at

www.unitedrc.com

or the beast, at

www.shop.one18th.com

and there are a few others, like the scorpion.

He claims his budget is 25 bucks, you tell him to get a 25 dollar motor. Wheres the money to get a motor plate.

Plate and out of the box speed 300, theres your 25 bucks.

Either way, get a job.

get the scorpion motor. it's only $24.95, it's tuned, and it comes with a speed 300 adapter so you don't have to replace the stock plate. shipping i believe is $4.50. you can get them here->

This is the motor I use........

http://www.balsapr.com/catalog/motor...LargeImage=yes

It is $12 and I am pretty sure it will beat a speed 300. I say that because the numbers from both motors show the GWS em300 to be faster. I am very happy with mine. I got 22.4 MPH an that motor with 7.2v blind pack and 16t pinion/ 58t spur.

Hope this helps.
