I have heard of a solid front diff but do you want to make one for the rear.

I want to make the rear solid because it allows the rear to slide out under power. Its suits my driving style better I think. I fear that if I locked the front it would want to understeer when I applied power.

Well at least you will be able to play with the locked diff......hey its up too you where you want to put it. I have heard of people locking there front ones and not the rear and if you say it suits you then its all good.

Ill probably end up putting it in front and back just to try them both out. Its nice that therye interchangeable. I am still playing with the handling on the car too. The past few days is really the only use I have got out of the car, when I first got it it had stock electronics that were pretty warn out and only lasted a couple runs.

Thats how you should handle a forum though! Instead of insulting me cause I dont do what you think is best you say do what I feel suits my style. I like that....

Hey when i became a member of this forum i wasnt instantly a moderator.....i was chosen by the owner himself and it took years. I try to help when i can, and basically a person that joins wants a member to respect them as well and not talk down to them as if they were a child. Like i said im still learning what i can about whats out there as we all are. Hey what radio are you using, i tell people that a good upgrade is a nice radio as well.

All this time I figured you were the owner lol. I dont ever see anyone on here buy you and whats his face that was a jerk. Thats true though, people join forums seeking help and if you talk to them like a child they wont want to come back and maybe even leave the hobby all together. There arent many people around me that are into RC's so I dont want to be steering people away by being rude. We are all always learning, people that think they know everything usually dont know anything because theyre so close minded they wont listen to anyone else.

I am using a Traxxas 4ch micro receiver and a 3ch transmitter. A cheap setup I know but I just needed something to get me going as when I bought the car it didnt come with a system. Also i dont have hundreds of dollars to throw on a fancy system at the moment. As the car sits right now in that picture I have about 200 dollars into it including the 7 cell battery I have coming in the mail. I would like to get a DX3 or something like that. Simple but effective. I like having EPA adjustments too. That way I can set profiles that tune down the throttle so I can let friends drive my cars without worrying about them going full throttle into a curb or some other immovable object.

Oh yes I know. I had a JR system for my old Revo. It did make a HUGE difference. I would have kept it but I figured it would fetch more money with it when I had to sell it.... I was wrong lol. Should have kept the thing.... oh well.

Nice radio for sure. I dont think my budget will allow that right now though. If I can come up with the money ill let you know, but dont hold it for me or anything.
