Well I finally got my HPI rubbers, and mounted them on my venom rims.Ran it today, and she stuck to the ground real good!

Like the 3D headlights?
Thanks for the comment Lostinturn3.

I also cut out the rear brake intake to help get some air to the motor.Just used a dremel with a pencil like bit.

also, did you open up the vents on both sides for even airflow, or does it really make any difference?

I used masking tape, and a hobby knife and lots of time and patients.
Had to look from outside the body to see the body lines, and cut from the inside.Poke it with the knife a little to see where the tip of the blade is, and then just trim away. But you need a really sharp blade or else you'll tear the tape up.
I cut both vents out for even airflow.Nothing really to cool on the battery side(other then the li-po, but that never gets warm), but it's mostly for looks so it looks even.I did notice it kept the motor a little bit cooler.Use to be really hot that you could only touch it for a couple of second. Now you can touch it without fear of burning your fingers.(but still hot to the touch)
And by the way, your lambo body is nice!I like the one color scheme!

my only prob with this body is that it is the EXACT color of my local track I used racing red and outlaw black, and i was going for a deep red color. instead i got a chocolate brown.

i will cut out my air vents, though. that looks like a great idea.

My friend was telling me that wherever I cut in the body, it's going to crack when you crash it into the wall. But the thing is 95% of crashes are headon.I think the only thing you have to worry about is rubbing against something with that vent might tear it.But the track I race at has smooth walls and poles. So take that into consideration.
All though these bodys are relatively cheap...

i can't think of anything on my lhs track that would snag the air vent. then again, if there is ANYTHING that can do it, I'll find it!

Smear shoe-goo on the inside of the body (where it is most likely to crack, and you should be good.
