i know im new to the rs4 , but im not new to lots of power on an 18. I want to know if the car can really handle a high kv motor with a 3cell , and how often would you rip gears apart or diffs. I run a CC 8k with an Aero-Nuts 3cell 35c/50c burst and its a ROCKET even with crappy gearing(10th scale foams though) I cant imagine that combo in the rs4

Well imagine a 540 motor in it......you just need smooth pavement. I really dont recommend using the stock gear diffs......especially if your drivetrain up front isnt hopped up. I would recommend an aluminum diff case with steel universals or dogbones as they are called for the RS4.

nice little ride there, those Deans plugs look so big. I dont know squat about this car, yet I agree with you. I could see the OEM plastics shreading or worst Melting, so Id beef it all up too.

Its good if you plan on using high powered motors and cells......if you take a look around, there are also Deans Micro plugs as well. What i used to is put the micro deans on the motors and put the Deans plugs on the battery and esc.

Which set of parts are supposed to be used for a micro servo on a stock rs4

https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...ns&pn=HPI73435

https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...ns&pn=HPI73436

And what teeth pinion should I use for a 7800KV brushless on stock rs4?

And as for the pinion size i would try a 10 or 11t first.......and see how you like that.

Hey where are you located in Toronto? There are a couple of shops that might have some Micro parts in town. For sure you can get the micro dean connectors.

Too bad no more tracks around Toronto that runs these cars....
