I took my MRS4 to the local hobby shop and went through two lipo packs on their small indoor carpet track. What a blast and it brought back some fond memories. Wish we still raced them.

My son has started racing with us on wed nites we all run BRP sc18's but used to run MRS4s and m18s. he kicked butt last week with the HPI its nice to see it still has the speed.
Hes 21 we are 45+ and i think it DOES have something to do with the young reaction times.
we have been running MRS4s since they came out and it has an exotec o3 chassis which was their most recent he has been racing indoor for 3 weeks but has been racing outdoor with us for 15 years... bastard!!!

Was so glad to see HPI bring back the MRS4!

A little bummed that they didn't make any changes, but also not surprised. The MRS4 was always a blast to run even right out of the box.

Also hope that HPI will offer all their current drift/touring body styles available in Micro size something they failed to do the first time around.

I definitely want one (again ) But am also hoping that the aftermarket support will come back with it? Would love to see chassis from Exotek, IPD, Ratzas and Penguin R/C again

And how Awesome would it be for Crazy Nut Racing to make wheels again!!!!!!

We actually have never stopped supporting the car and have most items currently in stock from our collection of parts.. Granted our current stock is lower than it once was but we also produce the parts on demand as we do our own manufacturing.. So Penguin r/c is actually ready to go if the car has not changed any (we will be getting our hands on one as soon as possible to make sure of any changes that HPI may or may not have done with the car.

I got out all of my MRS4's for a bit of a refresh. I'm looking to LiPo the aktion sleeper and both aktion 540s.

I've been fixing a 1:1 Toyota AW11 MR2 with my youngest and rebuilding my childhood Tamiya Top Force.
