I picked up a 12 pack of picks at a music store for under $5.00 but I think you can get them singly or cheaper packs anywhere they sell guitars. If you have a friend who plays ask him for one.
I cut mine out with a hobby knife and filed the corners and rough edges. I used a small drill (called a pin-vise) to make the holes.
Place the master steering link onto the guitar pick.
Using the hand drill go though one hole on the master though the pick.
Using a spare screw screw both down.
Repeat drilling procedure for second hole.
Using Hobby knife to cut around the master link.
Unscrew and file the new link smooth.
I saw a YouTube video of how another person did his, I think my way is easier.
