when push comes to shove

new here
i shreaded the whole of my gear box in the weekend,got it repaired what cost a hell of alot of money
took it out ran fine.
took it out again andevery time i stops i have to push it to get it going again
so could some of you guys help me on what to do

either something in the drivetrain is binding or your motor's brushes have worn to the point where the motor is basically done for.

how well does the car roll when you push it? It should roll faily easily and not make any noise.

the motor is brand new. but i had a look after someone on another forum posted somthingg simular to what you did, so anyway had a look and there was a brush missing
would this be causing the problem
btw the car move freely. and should after the money i spent on it after being handed into the mechanic

hi phil mate

yes if your missing a brush you motor is done for. put it on a shelf to remember your self of the first motor you killed.

you can replace the brush but that depends on the end cap ( where wires connect) if this is inside the motor can and has small tabs holding it inplace you cant replace them my mini t moter has no replacable brushes too so will soon be in same boat mate

i would sugest getting a graupner 300 and better esc when money is more available these motor are very good and dont cost a fortune, you may require my good friend dremel on the mount but a little bump an grind for more speed and fun is well worth it

sorry people my eyes are playing up on me the brush was fine
somehow the wire got rusty and snapped a little while ago soldered back on goes fine

TC think ill be saving my penny for the mamba mate

If your chewing up trannies with the stock motor you might wanna look into upgrading to a ball diff and CVD's .... the Mamba will definitely eat the stock stuff .....
