Hi Mario,

Yes central vertical motor mount is not the best way for improve handling of the car.

The only reason for use this mount, it could just be for gain some space for fit a 2nd servo and make a great 4ws M18 ... this implies 3ch RX/TX with TX mixer ! Why play with TOE-IN/OUT if 4ws could be used

e_lm_70

P.S: The only minus in the M18 (like the miniRS4) is the wheel/tyre removal ... why you have not used a nylon nut system ?

As well M18 is not 100% servo saver friendly !

Mario,

Who cares about the M18 (just kiddin, I got one and love it). Seriously though, how about some info on the XB8! or a place to get some real info....not the teaser stuff on Xrays site.

All I Need is springs

Are there any plans for additional springs or oil filled shocks for the m18. With the graphite chassis shock tuning is more important
now.

You can be sure that Xray will continue working on the further development of the M18 and fine tuning of all details, so you can expect many great goodies coming out. Enjoy your racing and have fun.

Talking

Mario: Just wanted to say how pleased I am with my M18. I am running mine box stock except for HPI carpet rears and HPI kit fronts. I use the same radio equiptment from my old MRS4. I run 4 cell stock class and in only my 2nd outing with the M18 I am turning the same number of laps I did with the old car, but with 5 cells and a 45 turn modified!

Tell the guys around the factory,"Thanks for making a great car!" It was a pleasure to build and is so much better than my old car. If there were a 1/10 on-road racing in Indianapolis, Indiana. I would strongly consider purchasing another X-Ray Product.

I am looking forward to the 6 degree front arms, and the rear 2.5 degree toe optional parts. One thing I would wish for would be optional springs for the shocks. I prefer to spend money in places that allow me to tune the car rather than on parts that "look pretty"

Thanks again guys for such a great car out of the box!

I'm having problems with the front rims cracking. I assume it has something to do with the tight fit onto the inner rims.

I beleive the plastic in the rims is either too brittle or is reacting badly to the traction compound I'm using, Corally Jack the Gripper.

Have you received similar feedback and do you know what alternatives are available? I just mounted a brand new set of tires and never even raced the car with them but yet the rims are already cracked after sliding them on the car for the first time. And yes I made sure to align the slots on the inner rims before pushing the rim/tire on.

Thanks

There was already some feedback on the fragile wheels. There will be the composite mixture evaluated and find solution in the case of any problem.

Stock Outer Wheels

Three months here with original stock outer wheels removing and replacing at least once/week--no problems here at all. I still cannot believe that a stock kit can be so trouble free--NOT ONE SINGLE BROKEN PART IN THREE MONTHS OF STOCK AND 45T RACING. Well done Mario/XRAY.

Ball diff specs?

I have new ball diffs on the way but had 2 questions:
1) What are the size and quantity of the balls?
2) What is the factory fill lube and can dry-film lube be substituted?

Thanks!

rear body mount brace

Mario: Are there any plans to offer the blue woven graphite rear body mount brace in other colors as well as by itself?

As of right now I think it is only offered in the Blue speed 300 upgrade kit.

I would love to have one in black woven graphite!

Thanks in advance
