I am sure that either of those two motors will be more than enough speed for whatever 1/18 car you are running.
If I am not mistaken the Rabid motor is $5 less.
Just perform a search, I am sure that you will find the information that you need.

You can get the K3 for $25 which is a pretty good motor.
Look here for more information:

I've never tried a Rabid motor or the Raptor.. I have run Ruby and Krystal3's ...
I think the krystal motor is more efficient and runs as well or better then the Ruby. I definately have more battery left at the end of a race running the K3 then the Ruby. Any turned my fastest times with the K3.
So if you're a racer I'd go K3 and gear up... If you just want to bash and go fast any of them will do....

I think all given examples are "tuned 300" motors.
Why not getting one and tune yourself, on the on18th forums is an article. For 30 dollar you can get 3 standard speed-300 motors
Also for 30 dollar you also can get a Speed-480bb-race, a wonderfull and very powerfull motor

Simply advancing the timing on a motor is not "tuning"
