Imagine the rpm's of a Speed300 combined with the torq of a 540 through a 22t pinion
This baby is the size of a 400 with only a longer endbell, compleet rebuildable, adjustable timing, ballbearings, 3.17mm shaft and replaceable brushes.
First I have to race all indoor competitions with a simple 180 motor and then it is speeding time !!!!

got to post your run times. with my rad-400 5-9 minutes with 1050 kans was the norm. it has come out as a everyday motor.

May I ask:
What are you using for a motor mount?
What are you using for a pinion as the shaft size is larger?
Did you raise the rear deck?
Thanks as I was seriosly looking at getting one for awhile.
________ STORZ BICKEL GRINDER
- I have a homemade 400/300 mount
- With this shaft I can use normal 1/10 scale pinions, maybe I have to shorten it......
- I already did raise the rear deck for a 400-race but have to make a own rear deck wit a wider placed posts to fit this one in. Last summer I already did make a rear deck matching my "gold" chassis.
Drivetime I am not sure, with 1000mAh on a Speed400-race on 8 cells and a 16t pinion 7 minutes can be reached. I hope to get 6 minutes drivetime, the 480bb is more efficient than a 400-race.
i'm sitting here drooling for some installed pics!
and thanks for the info.
