Well I got all my parts today...I started tearing apart the car to install the servo, and the micro servo that cam with the radio didn't work with any of the horns that came with the car kit. I guess i'll need to run out to my local hobby shop to get a new one.

I ended up geting a standard servo(Futuba)...I had to use a razor blade to shave the little piece on the plug.

The car is together - it kinda works...I need to do a bunch of fine adjustments to it to get it up to par. I was supprised that even with all the tiny electronics the body barely fits. I am going to do a lot of cutting and soldering tomorrow morning and see if I can't get it working well.

If you trying to save some space you can shorten the wires a tad and also get rid of those plugs and solder on some Deans Micro plugs.

Thats the plan...I don't want any wires hanging out...but I can't really do much about that. I liked my nitro RS4 because all the electronics were hidden and out of the way.

Well...took it out for a drive tonight. It was the first time so I knew there would be little issues, but...after about 5 min I noticed that the car was getting really ass happy. I picked it up and noticed the front wheels weren't spinning at all. Something is wrong with the front diff. Ugh...time to tear it apart and fix it!

If the front wheels are not moving, take a look at the universals and also while your at it also the diff case, if your using the stock diff case then more then likely the two tabs broke off.

I will do that later after work. Its going to be a good time to upgrade to the dogbones. I doubt theres anything wrong with the diff...unless this thing is a cheap piece of crap(which I doubt).

Im not referring to the gear diff inside the diff case, im talking about the tabs on the diff case itself.......if its the stock one then i would suggest going with the HPI Aluminum Diff Case.....take a look at the link so you know what im talking about. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXDUR4&P=7

The HPI Aluminum Diff Case is an option part so you will have to buy that seperately.

ok - i wasn't sure...it looks like something up there was aluminum. The problem is that both front dogbones came out. I have no idea where they could have ended up. Go figure...

I plan on ordered the aluminum dog bones and a few other parts. I will pry get the rear ball differential and front aluminum diff too.
