Old E-Maxx parts on RS4?

Hey everyone,

My little bro has an old E-maxx with 2 550 motors. I was wondering if I could buy/make a 540 kit and use the parts from his e-maxx?

All you really need to get is the 540 motor plate.....and dremel the stock rear pod to make a bit of room for it to adjust the pinion.

You can either go with a standard servo or a micro one...........your micro should have came with an assortment of steering horns. Just remember that if you go with a micro servo you will need to also get the servo mount as well.

Thanks for all the help alfred. I just stripped the E-maxx and I have...
-550 Motor
-ESC
-Servo
-Reciever and Radio.

I was gona buy the Aktion 540 kit. At first I though it included the front suspension and rear but it looks like its just the chassis. Where can I get all the other parts. I dont want to use any from my current MRS4. Thanks

that would be your first bet to do......instead of trying to hunt down all the parts you will need.

well you can always put an ad in the micro classifieds here on the boards to see if other members can help you locate the parts you will need.
