Tekin B1r

I was fortunate enough to get one of these to test out for Tricky who is a member of this forum.....his dad is VP of Tekin. And im glad i was granted the opportunity to test one out...........when you take a look at the package that it comes in your surprised to see how tiny this sucker is, way smaller then my quantum super reverse and the case is thinner too. I didnt use the wires that it came with way too thick for my taste so i went with 16awg flex wire, i soldered on the capacitor that the esc came with and deans ultra plugs for now, i might switch the motor plug to a micro deans since thats what i was running with my old esc. Calibration for the radio and esc was a sinch, just turn on the esc and radio and hold the mode button till it beeps and the esc finds neutral for you.....another beep then you hit throttle and the last beep you hit reverse........i havent had the chance to run it yet but i can tell you now that im going to have fun with testing this one. The instructions seem simple enough but some parts of it keep me guessing......i wish i had the cable so i can connect it to my PC to make programming the esc simple and fast........please take a look at the pics.

You can see the comparison pic of the both the esc's......the size and thickness of the case.

That Tekin ESC looks like the hot ticket for micro racing.

The B1r does 30amps and the B1 does 60amps so both of these esc's will be able to handle any micro motor out there. I just like the fact that this sucker is tiny.

But i already knew that....so far im really digging it, the throttle response is great, and i especially like the drag brake..........cant wait for the link to come out that will make the esc even more tunable.

This sucker is working great.......i still cant believe how tiny this sucker is......and im waiting on the link to come out since thats the best way to fine tune all of the settings. The esc stays cool and one feature that i love the best is the drag break.

Mine was free for testing it for them........i really dont think its out yet, i think the esc is suppose to come out next month sometime......and the reason why the sidewalls are glued is so my ride doesnt traction roll.......but i can tell you now that its one esc worth paying for......
