17 turn double in TLT...Do I need to change gearing?

Hey all,
Got my kit and I'm ready to start building. Thought I better ask before I put the motor in if I was doing the right thing.
I have a Venom 17turn double that I planned on using. I will be mostly driving around the house with little crawling or climbing until next sping when I can get outside again.

Anyways...Will I be OK with the 17 turn or should I go with a higher turn or maybe change the gearing?

Thanks

Change the gearing from what? If you are comparing from gearing for a stock motor, then you are going to want to run a smaller pinion.

I decided to keep the 17 turn for something else. I ordered a 23 turn Orion Havok that someone in another post posted that they liked a lot. A little hotter than a stock but not too crazy. I'll try it out with the stock gearing and see how it does.
