i always assumed that the little motors in these things were maintenance free... i was looking at shock oil online, and noticed motor oilers as well... should the motor be oiled regularly?
thanks

Here's a tip, there's different motor lubes for bearing types and theres another for bushing types. For a motor that uses bearings the oil is thin like bearing lube and for bushings the lube is a bit thicker.......so the bushing doesnt wear as fast.
I use Serpent oneway bearing oil for my stock 180 and 300 motors. It is a very thin oil with a very high lubrication factor, I even use it in the bearings of the car.
