Question about voltage on stocker

Hello all, I am getting back into R/C and have decided to go electric instead of Nitro this time around. The stock battery pack with the MRS4 is 6v. Many of the aftermarket packs are 7.2v and higher. Are the 7.2 volt packs safe for the esc? Just wanted to make sure,

thanks

Drew

It will dude....you should have no problems at all running it on 7.2volts....just dont go any higher on the voltage since most esc's will only handle 7.2volts. Hope this helps.

SPECS: Dimensions: 33.5 x 33.0 x 20.5mm
Motor: stock motor and the optional motor for the Micro HPI
Input Voltage: 4.8-7.2 volts
Maximum continuous current: 80A
Peak Current: Forward at 200A/Reverse at 200A

The ESC has its own voltage regulator so it will send 5 volt to the receiver and so al the equipment as the D-box connected to it
