stock reciver/esc problem.

I just picked up one tonight... It's so cool... But it seems that either the radio, or the reciver/esc isn't working properly... It's jittery, and when you hit the trigger, it either doesnt move at first , or takes's off, then stops after about 5 feet. After I walk closer it starts up again... Not what I'd call a very good range... And when it does respond it's very jerky, it goes, stops, or just takes off completly out of controle....
I feel this might be the reciver, but really I dont know I've never had this problem before... especilay from something only a few hours old.....

make sure the batteries in the radio and mini-t are new or fully charged, make sure the crystals are in properly, check your trim settings on the radio

I endded up replacing the esc and reciver. Hven't looked back sence. It has great range, more power, completly responsive, far more than it has ever been.

Would hobbytown or TL Be able to replace my ESC/Reciever. I mean its only a day old and no major driving and it started glitching. I better either get a refund or a new esc/Reciever combo from em.

I'd give it a shot. I bought mine from my local hobbie shop, experienced simular troubles, the next day returned it. And they replaced the esc/reciver and radio. It was a littel better, but still glichy at times. So after I was able to afford it, I replaced everything....
