micro-t receiver connection problem

when I start up my micro-t it seems to take a little while to "connect" to the radio. It doesn't matter if the radio is on before or after the truck is on. I won't lose connection, so far, when it's running and sometimes i do get delays on the throttle, i have not seen it on the steering yet. Anyone else have these problems? this problem follows me where ever i run my truck so i have ruled out interference, unless my old frigging cell phone is the source since that is always with me.

Check your connections to the battery to the esc, and make sure that your servo and esc plugs are all the way in....you can use a small flat tip to push the connectors in......and make sure your motor is soldered properly and the wires making contact to the motor leads.
