chassis conversions
I just picked up a Micro RS4 and looking to upgrade the Chassis. Which chassis is the best balanced? I was looking into the ratzas and I'm searching high and low for one with no luck. Can anyone suggest a comparable one?

The Ratty is a one of a kind now........and very hard to get, if you get a hold of one just use it for looks. I still have my first gen 540 chassis and its still in great condition.

Finding any kind of MRS4 conversion chassis these days will be tough as the micro scene hasn't been popular for years.
Having said that, I do have a brand new in the bag Team Epic EXO150 graphite chassis kit with hardware and a brand new Motek black anodized steering servo mount that I might sell. These are race upgrades for the HPI Micro RS4 and were discontinued long ago. Extremely rare especially NIB. I'd need a crazy offer to pry this from my hands though.

I've been hanging onto that chassis for a while now hoping that the micro class makes a come back some day.

I have a "well beaten" exo 1 like that, the rear pod always seemed to come loose. I also have a well beaten EXO 2 and currently i'm beating a EXO 3...
the parts are drying up we still have some but we are switching to Buds racing products sc 18 which is a 2wd pan car thats 1/18th scale..
We are stilll gonna run the MRS4's until the parts are gone tho.

we did 780 hard laps on carpet last week same as pretty much every week... we go thru 4-5 sets of foams per year burnt right down to the plastic lol...
each lap = about 120 running feet i did the math once and its pretty crazy these micros have hundreds of MILES on them...

just 2 weeks into a new BRP sc18 and not disappointed lap times at 6.9 VS 6.6 for the MRS4's not bad for 2 wd VS 4wd the brp is taking a bit of sorting out as to setup etc and the times should come down a bit more batteries and esc/motors the same as MRS4 getting some good laps with BRP just need to work on consistancy.
Currently running 1 battery MRS4 then 1 batt BRP so getting about 350 laps per nite on each.
still prefer the MRS4 but the sc18 is fun and getting better as we work out the setup.
