Just got mine built

Well I just finnished building mine and running around the living room
I dont yet have a tamiya battery pack so for another week I will be stuck with a stick pack.
It was a real delight to build. Took me about 10 hours of work.
I also bought Stampede sized tires and mounted them on hpi wheels. It raised the truck up over 1 inch in ground clearance.
Now to get the body done

I have both....and i woudl say the TLT-1 is just an all around cooler truck... the suspension and 4ws is awesome....just like the txt-1.....but if you just want speed and big jumps...i guess go with mini-t.

Took me 8-10 hrs as well! First kit I've built, so I was pretty slow! I'm running a stick pack on mine, too, until I get my SC cells in to make a "six-pack" batt pack. Got my body painted (crappy paint job) but can't run it until I make up my batt packs... won't fit with the stupid stick pack strapped on top!

Can you post some pics of your chassis with the larger wheels & tires?? I'm considering ordering some Wild Willy 2 tires/wheels for mine, but I'd like to see some other options as well!

Thanks,

Paul
