Found my Micro RS4 after 10 years too!
10 years later, graduated from college, bought a home, got married and had kids... Found the micro rs4 at my parents house only to discover parts have been discontinued.
Batteries were shot so I bought a 7 cell on eBay. I forgot how fast this was with a 370 motor. I've heard of a 540 conversion but that kits not avail either.
How many of us still run micros? I'm a bit out of date when it comes to these micros.

It sucks that only drift tires are avail. I'm running 7 cells on a 370 and my wheels lose traction Under full throttle. I just spent $200 the past few days on what's left Of mrs4 parts on eBay (one way diff, dog bones, rear ball diff, rubber wide tires, spur gear, front diff gear, battery pack
Wife is gonna kill me

The good news is that this stuff is pretty small and easily hidden from the evil eye.

Mircro RS4 tires:
You can use the slide-on style wheels of the xray m18 standard, they will slide right on to the micro rs4 inner wheels no problem. They are still for sale here:
http://www.teamxray.com/xshop
Part # 389990 is the wheels used for xray rubber tires that will slid on to micro rs4:
http://www.teamxray.com/xshop/produc...ls,%20F+R%20(4)
Part # 389640 is the xray grip rubber tires that will fit on those wheels:
http://www.teamxray.com/xshop/produc...20F+R%20(40Deg)
Part # 389650 is some harder rubber front tires which may improve stability:
http://www.teamxray.com/xshop/produc...Front%20(50Deg)
You can also buy GQ brand foam tires from here:
http://competition-rc.com/catalog/in...?cPath=326_333
The GQ tires are designed for the M18, but assuming that they sell the slide-on type, that should work on the Mirco RS4 since the xray brand slide-on wheels work. But the other thing is this website does not list them very clearly, and they show the same graphic down the whole list when I don't think they are really the same. There are now 2 kinds of wheels for the xray m18, the "pro" "hex" type which will not work on the micro rs4, and the standard slid-on type. If you look on this list carefully you will see that some are listed as "pro" and some are not, when they otherwise appear to be duplicates, so I can only assume that the ones that don't say "pro" are actually the standard slid-on type, but I can not say for sure. In any case these come in a huge range of softnesses from stupid hard to stupid soft and they will probably all grip on pavement as good as you possibly hope for.

Update
Picked up 20 pairs of tires from nearby hobby town USA that had leftover stock.
Just ordered a toro brushless combo and a 3s lipo battery.
Can't wait to see how it does
