I would chose an esc first......there tons of motor choices out there as well......but getting a good esc keeps everything running like it should. And for the motor you can go with the Speed 300 motor...

I really dont think that the motor mount will accomadate a 180 size motor......its meant for a 280-300 size motor. You can always gear down if the speed 300 is too much for you.

Well, just got the graphite chassis upgrade for my IBS.... nice and simple to assemble.

hits:
awsome fit,
easy to build,
comes with aluminum motor mount and body
extends the wheelbase with a bit,makes for a nicer ride!


misses
no stickers(other then masking)
not much material to mount electronics on. can b fixed with either lexan or zipties!

well, got my 2nd spyder, but wanted something different...so i "anodized" the chrome with a red marker..check it out!

Well, it looks great. Hope the P. Marker doesn't wear off the first few times you have to brush the dust off, just don't ever clean it with anything liquid based. Sharpie no like water or anything when it's on metal, or glass
