What are the best battery packs to be running for racing???

GP 1100mah packs. six cell or lithiums if your track allows them

do you think i could run 2 6cell packs at the same time for extra speed or will it be to heavy? i am running a mamba so it should be alright what do you think?

If you want the extra speed, go with 3 lithiums. I wouldn't recommend going with twin 6-cells, it's just too many cells.

mini t battery

try aaa cells make a pack up to 9 cells 10.8 volt it will work with standard electrics ,with 800 nimh's will last about half hour and give good speed:
