Was out at the DTM- Race three weeks ago on Norisring. It was amazing! Though my favourite driver Alesi wasn´t as successful as I hoped. But the battle between Audi and Mercedes on places 1&2 was thrilling. Aiello got Schneider in the last corner of the race! HPI should make a body of the new, much more elegant CLK, but yours is (as always) impressive!
Greetings from Nuremberg, Germany

Akura2... SUPER JOB!
My brother just bought that same body for me, but I'm sure that when I'm done with mine, it won't look quite so beautiful. Good work!
Would you mind posting more info. on your "hand made decals". It would be helpful to quite a number of folks.
Thanks!

CLK
Akura2
Nice work indeed.
Did you screen cut the decals, or use Super-Cal waterslides?
It looks so good, it could be mistaken as a Mini-Z

That's what I thought too. It is amazing. I had to do a "triple-doubletake". LOL.

Thanks everybody
here it goes:.....
Alps MD5000 dry printer..(prints white and silver and gold foil)
Logos were from this site http://www.logo.nino.ru/
then put together in Corel Draw...
For some of the decals I do I use my vinyl cutter..(like my 5Zigen car) but not on this one
I printed the decals on BEL clear waterslide paper... vinyl is too thick to be realistic...doesn't lay into the creases as well... the thickness of the waterslide paper is actually the scale thickness of 1:1 scale vinyl... I'll post pics of the car naked later tonight...
actually here.... http://www.hpiracing.com/rcforum/att...&postid=415764
