cooling issues

im running a 370 stock brushed motor out of idk what in my banger rs4 and im having trouble keeping it cool im running a 3cell lipo i get about 3-5 min out of it b4 i can smell the bruches buring i have two question to whom ever can answering them
1/ what can i do to get longer run time b4 it smells
2/ i have a small 1 1/2 in brushless cooling fan from radio shack its rated at 12v 0.13a 1.56w will this help cooling issue an how bad will this kill my run time
and or my batt life span good idea or not

Yes it will lower your runtime and also cool the motor as well......what pinion are you using, have you tried lowering the pinion. Make sure you also check your mesh......too tight of a mesh can cause the motor to work harder then usual.

i used plastic like parts bag u know just a single layer and the mesh is just about right i used this methoud on all my rcs nitro or electric

Then i would either go down on pinion tooth or hook up the fan....

thats what i figured i have an 8tooth ill try that and see what that does for me, by the way do u or anyone else know where i can buy a front x shock setup thats all i lack for being all aluminum on my other micro
im looking for it in silver or purple used or new as long as shocks are included

That's my set of X shocks alright. I wasn't planning to sell because they are impossible to find any more. I am open to outrageously high offer though.
